Favourite Team and Player?

I love watching the lionesses play. However, my favourite sportsperson has to be Alex Scott.

Favourite Food?

100% has to be a Chinese takeaway. Can’t beat it!

Number one pet peeve?

My biggest pet peeve has to be being stuck behind slow walkers as I find it really frustrating.

Something people might be surprised to learn?

Most people are surprised to learn that I was part of the Ball Crew for the Billy Jean King Cup in 2023, England vs France, where I was on court with and met Heather Watson, Katie Boulter, and Harriet Dart.

The Bio

From a young age, I have always been actively involved in a range of sports, with swimming and tennis being my favourites.  I first became interested in coaching as a way to further develop both myself and the sports I am passionate about. I began by assisting the development squad at the competitive swimming club where I trained to a high level. From there, I expanded my experience by coaching tennis to children aged 5–11. Being the only female coach was particularly inspiring, motivating me to encourage greater participation among young girls and strengthen my commitment to progressing in this field. These opportunities have been incredibly rewarding and have provided me with valuable, real-world experience in coaching.

I am currently working toward my degree in Physical Education and Sports Coaching, through which I have gained strong knowledge and hands-on experience in planning and delivering inclusive sessions for young children. This has not only been highly fulfilling but has also increased my confidence in delivering my own practice.

During my time at university, I spent two months in the USA coaching tennis, supporting children in developing enjoyment, confidence, and lifelong participation in sport. My goal is to have a positive impact on children’s perceptions of PE and sport by creating experiences that are engaging, meaningful, and spark a lasting passion for physical activity.
