AJB Sports in Education was established in 2017 by Andy Beeston. In 2015, after spending 8 years living and coaching in America, Andy arrived home to the UK and was contemplating what the future held for him in the education and sporting sector. With the vast amount of experience and qualifications he had achieved in sports coaching and education, staying within this sector was his passion – First, Football Fun Camps and then AJB was born! Now with many years of Football and Multi Sports Coaching in Primary Schools and holiday camps in multiple locations, Andy has never looked back.
After 3 years of solidifying and building the company the time came to look to the future, to rebrand and a new exciting era was born. This was quickly followed by new staff, a new Managing Director in James Prentice and continuing exciting links and partnerships with local colleges, Universities and the Worcestershire FA.
AJB has not stopped growing over the years, going from a company solely focused on working with Primary Schools to adding Birthday Parties, Holiday Camps, HAF Camps, Fundamentals for Pre School, Girls Football and Active Minds. With each hire and new adventure we go on, we are always looking forwards and never back.
We have worked hard to build AJB Sports in Education to be a company which embodies our wonderful staffs beliefs as coaches: enjoyment of sport, participation for all, developing both physical and life skills and all whilst encouraging creativity throughout.

Safer Recruiting
Be assured that all of our staff go through an extensive and thorough recruitment process. Our coaches are experts in their field and have experience in childcare and education. Everyone of our coaches is also fully invested in our ethos and believes in the holistic approach to coaching that we value here at AJB.
As part of our high standards AJB staff and our policies are compliant with our Ofsted Registration and requirements for our Holiday Camps. All of our staff have qualifications recognised by a National Governing Body such as The FA, RFU and LTA, as well as educational backgrounds including BTECs and BSc’s in Sports Coaching and Childcare.
DBS Checked and Safeguarding
Our fully qualified coaches have enhanced DBS disclosures and, as part of our Ofsted Requirements and commitment to safety, are safeguard trained.
First Aid Trained
AJB staff are are First Aid trained and compliant with our Ofsted requirements. Staff are trained in Emergency First Aid and Pediatric First Aid
Qualified Instructors
Staff hold sports specific and National Governing Body qualifications, plus undertake regular in-house training and development.
